All Eyes on Me
All Eyes on Me, demonstrates eight powerful and emotional photographs of young women in college who are survivors of sexual assault. This series brings awareness to an uncomfortable topic, and brings light to the fact that rape among young women is much more common than people believe. Although allowing yourself to feel open and vulnerable is scary, all of these women in were able to take that feeling and allow it make them feel more powerful and emotional. Every image in the sequence continuously builds up on one another, slowly exposing more and more skin. The purpose of this is to portray the idea of the time and courage it takes for women to tell their stories of sexual assault. As time goes on, women slowly become more and more comfortable sharing their stories and opening up to people. The goal for this project is for viewers to relate to these images in the sense that they should never feel ashamed of their past and who they are, as revealing their stories will only make them stronger.
